Marine & Mobile Welding in Chesapeake City, Maryland
Chesapeake City is one of the closest Maryland towns to our shop. It's only about 16 miles, or roughly 30 minutes, west of Townsend along the C&D Canal. Rick serves Cecil County the same way he serves Delaware: mobile welding at your dock, barn or driveway, or drop-off at the Townsend shop for smaller parts.

Boats, Horses and Farms Along the Canal
Boats and marinas on the C&D Canal
With the canal and Back Creek right in town, boats are a big part of life here. We weld aluminum rails, T-tops, ladders, brackets and pontoon frames, and we repair boat trailers that have taken a beating from the water: rusted crossmembers, cracked tongues, bunk and roller brackets. Rick has done big aluminum work before, including hundreds of matching aluminum window grates for a military installation in Maryland.

Cecil County horse farms
The countryside around Chesapeake City is horse country. We fix paddock and driveway gates, round-pen panels, feeders, stall fronts and horse-trailer floors and dividers, right on the farm.

Hay and grain farms need equipment that works when the weather does. We repair hay equipment, implements, hitches, loader buckets and three-point mounts in the field, so the tractor doesn't have to make the trip.
Getting the boat ready for spring? Check our free trailer safety checklist, then send photos of anything cracked or rusted through for a free estimate.
Chesapeake City's small downtown on the south side of the canal draws visitors all summer, and local businesses there need railings, sign brackets and outdoor fixtures that stand up to the weather. Out in the county, farm and horse properties are spread out, which is why mobile service makes sense here. Rather than loading a broken gate or implement onto a trailer, call Rick and he'll bring the welder to it.
