Mobile Welding in Smyrna, DE

Smyrna sits right on the line between New Castle and Kent County, about 9 miles, or 15 to 20 minutes, south of our Townsend shop by Route 13 or Route 1. It's an easy run for our mobile rig, and close enough that dropping a trailer off at the shop is no big trip either.

Farm Country Repairs

Smyrna and the land around it are still farm country, and farm equipment breaks at the worst time, usually mid-season. We bring the welder to the field or the barn for:

  • Tractor loaders, three-point hitches and implement frames

  • Plows, discs, wagons and hay equipment

  • Farm gates, livestock panels and feeders

  • Grain and feed handling equipment

Trailers, Trucks and Boat Trailers

With Route 1 and Route 13 running through town, there's no shortage of work trucks and trailers, and with the Smyrna River, Woodland Beach and the Delaware Bay shore close by, plenty of boat trailers too. We repair frames, tongues, crossmembers and spring hangers (see Trailer Repair) and do boat, dock and rail work along the bay shore (see Marine Welding).

Why Smyrna Calls Us

Rick is a certified welder, and a manufacturer chose him as its on-site repair specialist. Field repairs are what he does all day. You get one person who shows up, fixes it, and tells you straight what it'll cost.

Homes and Small Businesses

Railings, gates and fences (see Gates, Fences & Railings), cracked cast iron wood stoves (see Cast Iron Repair), and custom pieces like brackets, racks and platforms for local shops. If it's metal and it's broken, call us and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth fixing.
