Welding & Fabrication in Middletown, DE
Middletown is practically next door. Our shop at 1210 Dexter Corner Road in Townsend is about 6 miles, or roughly 10 minutes, from the middle of town, which makes Middletown one of the quickest places for us to get to when something breaks. RickTheWelder has been serving the MOT area (Middletown, Odessa and Townsend) with shop and mobile welding for homes, farms and businesses.
What We Do Most Around Middletown
Middletown has a bit of everything, and so does our work there:
Warehouses and distribution sites: forklift damage, dock plates, racking and truck body repairs, done on site so the shift keeps moving. See Heavy Equipment Repair.
Trucks and trailers: contractors' trailers, landscape trailers and truck beds. See Trailer Repair.
New neighborhoods: porch and stair railings, driveway gates and ornamental fence panels. See Gates, Fences & Railings.
Farms on the edge of town: tractor, implement and farm gate repairs. Our mobile rig drives right out to the field. See Mobile Welding.
Wood stoves and cast iron: cracked stoves, doors and outdoor boilers. Fall is busy season for these. See Cast Iron Repair.
Shop Drop-Off or We Come to You
Because we're so close, a lot of Middletown customers just bring the part to the shop: a trailer, a stove, a broken bracket. Bigger stuff, like a forklift that won't leave the warehouse or a gate on its posts, we fix in place with the mobile rig. Either way, you're dealing with a certified welder whom a manufacturer chose as its on-site repair specialist.
Custom Work, Too
Need something built rather than fixed? We do custom fabrication in steel, stainless and aluminum, like loading platforms for commercial trucks, brackets, racks and one-off parts, from your drawing or just an idea.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Weekends by appointment.
Since we often work on site, please call to confirm a drop-off time before coming by.
