Farm & Mobile Welding in Felton, Delaware

Felton is about 34 miles, or roughly 50 minutes, south of our Townsend shop by Route 1 and Route 13. It's in southern Kent County, which is part of our regular service area, so Felton farms and families get the same mobile welding as customers in Dover and Smyrna. We bring the rig to the farm, the barn or the driveway.

Grain and produce farms around Felton

When a hitch cracks or an implement frame lets go during planting or harvest, you can't wait a week. We repair drawbars, three-point hitch parts, implement frames, loader brackets and buckets right on the farm.

Trailers on Route 13 and Route 12

Farm trailers, utility trailers and equipment trailers all end up on Route 13 or Route 12 sooner or later. We fix tongues, frames, crossmembers, ramps and hitch mounts, and our free trailer safety checklist helps you catch problems early.

Boats and campers near Killens Pond

With Killens Pond State Park just south of town, a lot of Felton families own a boat trailer or a camper. We repair bunk brackets, axle mounts, tongues and hitches before the season starts.

Felton is a longer drive for us, so photos help us plan. Send a close-up and a wider shot, and Rick will tell you what it needs and whether it's a mobile job or worth bringing up to Townsend.

Felton was founded in 1856 as a stop on the Delaware Railroad and named for Samuel M. Felton, a railroad president. The restored 1868 Felton Railroad Station still stands in town, and trains on the Delmarva Central Railroad still pass through. Main Street is Route 12, which runs west toward Greensboro, Maryland and east toward Frederica, and Route 13 carries the north-south traffic. Felton kids go to Lake Forest schools, the same district as Harrington, and a lot of our work here is for families who farm, haul and fix their own stuff until it needs a welder.
