Fair Country, Farm Country, Rail Town

Livestock and horse trailers

Harrington hosts the Delaware State Fair every July, and Harrington Raceway runs harness racing on the fairgrounds. That means a lot of livestock trailers, horse trailers and show equipment. We fix floor supports, dividers, gates, ramps, hitches and tongues, and our free trailer safety checklist is a good place to start before a big haul.

Farms along Route 13 and Route 14

The grain and livestock farms around Harrington keep hitches, implements, loaders and gates busy. We repair them in the field with the mobile rig so you don't lose a day hauling equipment.

Shops, yards and trucks in town

Route 13 and Route 14 cross in Harrington, and the town has been a railroad junction for generations. Businesses here call us for truck bodies, dump bodies, racks, guards and other on-site repairs.

Getting ready for fair season? Get trailer and equipment repairs on the schedule early. Harrington is about an hour from the shop, so we plan those trips ahead.

Harrington was named for Samuel Maxwell Harrington, a former chancellor of Delaware, and grew up around a junction on the Delaware Railroad. It's still a rail town: the Delmarva Central Railroad has offices here, and its Indian River line branches off toward the coast. Route 13 runs north toward Dover and south toward Salisbury, and Route 14 runs east toward Milford and west toward Denton, Maryland. With the fairgrounds just south of town, July is the busiest month of the year here.
